There are certain regular practices that every new Christian should get accustomed to if he or she wants to experience all that God has to offer. Those practices include: Bible Reading, Prayer, Church Attendance, Sharing your Faith, and Obedience to God’s Word.
There is one practice in the Christian life that many Christians struggle with: prayer. Think about it this way: many Christians want to pray to God but feel frustrated speaking to a person they cannot see with their eyes, hear with their ears, or touch with their hands. Why then should we pray?
This study will look at the three basic functions of a body of believers: Teaching the Bible, Worshipping God, Encouraging one another. These basic functions of a local body of believers help the Christian grow in his or her faith into spiritual maturity. Without church the Christian cannot experience all that God has for him or her.
In this study we will learn the basics of sharing our faith in Christ and what happens in us as a result of sharing the good news about Jesus. We will look at: Why We Share Our Faith, How We Share Our Faith, and The Results of Sharing our Faith.
In this study we will learn the basics of obeying God’s commands and how obeying God brings changes to the way we think, feel, and behave. It is impossible to have an encounter with the Living God and not have it change us in fundamental ways.
Before trying to wrap your head around these ideas, take a step back, through this study, to learn how the Spirit works in the Christian life and what your relationship with Him should be like.
