Rendezvous is a 15-minute daily Bible teaching programme presented by the late Rev Dick Saunders, founder of the “Way to Life” ministry in England. For nearly 50 years, his conversational style has welcomed both Christians and non-Christians alike to “stay a while” and listen. Rendezvous, along with his other programme, Way to Life, was broadcast worldwide in English on various TWR shortwave and medium wave (AM) transmitters.

Dick Saunders
Dick Saunders was a long-time evangelist who held crusades across the UK. After working behind the scenes at a Billy Graham Crusade in 1955, he left his father’s business to pursue full-time evangelism. He began his ministry in France, preaching from a tent in the market square. In 1960, Dick joined the Counties Evangelistic work, preaching to crowds ranging from hundreds to thousands, including 10 000 people at the 10th anniversary of the Way to Life Crusade. Over his ministry, more than 300 000 people attended his services in a tent that held 1 000 before it was blown away by wind in 1972. Dick passed away in January 2018 and is survived by his wife, Betty, who lives in southeast England.
