Sound Words is a programme in English offering basic Bible teaching, with some episodes focused on evangelism. Its main aim is to strengthen and support believers while reaching the hearts of non-Christian listeners. The programme also includes answers to listeners’ questions and features believers’ testimonies to illustrate the teachings shared.
Derek FrenchDerek French has been a valued member of the Grace Baptist Mission Radio team for 30 years. Although he officially retired in 2012, he continued to contribute one day a week in support of Andrew Cook’s ‘Serving Today’ ministry. Serving Today provides clear, biblical teaching to church leaders and Christians across many parts of Africa and beyond. Derek has maintained a strong interest in gospel work in Zimbabwe, a country he has visited numerous times, and he serves as a trustee of the Zimbabwe Partnership Trust.
Grace Baptist MissionGrace Baptist Mission is a church-based mission, helping Grace Baptist churches to support and care for their missionaries worldwide.
We are based in the United Kingdom, with our Mission Centre in Abingdon, and we work with local churches to support their missionaries in more than a dozen countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
We also have a radio ministry producing Bible-teaching programmes for listeners in both English and French, based in our radio studios in Abingdon and broadcast over numerous Christian radio stations worldwide.
